Candy Board with MegaBee

Quantity for 1 inner cover

5 lb sugar
16 oz. water
2 cups MegaBee pollen substitute
Or
4 lb. sugar

13 oz. water
1 1/2 c. MegaBee

Dissolve sugar in water & heat to 240 degrees using candy thermometer.

Remove from heat & stir in pollen supplement and cool down to 200 degrees.

CANDY BOARD _ Then pour on the inside inner cover on the deepest side using a can to cover center and something like cardboard to preserve the notch at the end. Install upside down so the candy in the inner lid becomes the ceiling for the bees to reach the food from the frames close to it.

CANDY _ Pour it in a 7 x 11 or a 9 x 13 cake pan lined with plastic wrap. Put the brick on top of the cluster, using a spacer shim around the top.

The pollen supplement is optional, but use it so it’ll be there in case theirs is gone.
